Hilarious!

Okay, this may not be very g-rated, but it was dang funny:) Kidding, kidding, it isn't too obscene, but I had to post this because I cried from laughing so hard. We were in Bass Pro Shops last night and Ryan was talking to a guy about guns. So being bored as I usually am and chasing kids in that area of the store, I look over to see why Reese is being so quiet and discover that she has her pants down (yes, underwear also). So I say, "Reese, what in the heck are you doing?!" She looks at me very nonchalantly and says, "I'm scratchin' my butt, mom." So I proceed to pull her pants up and tell her that we don't just rip our pants down and scratch our bums in public to which she replies again, "I'm scratchin' my butt mom." It was HILARIOUS! And what made it really funny was that a 3 year old was telling me this and it was like, Duh, mom what do you think I am doing?

My new obsession

So I discovered this store in Murray, UT while visiting my in-laws(actually my mother-in-law gave me a christmas gift from this place and then took me there while I was in Utah). It is called the Wood Connection and I am in love with it. I got my neighbor hooked too and now we are going to have Ryan's mom bring us stuff whenever she comes out. This last time we had her bring us the letters for spring and summer. Linda and I found some cute paper and stained our letters and decorated away and I am officially in love with doing these. So here is the finished spring product, I haven't gotten to summer yet.

Easter 2010

The girls looked so cute in their Easter dresses. The Easter bunny was pretty nice to them this year, and we even did a Resurrection egg hunt, so they would remember the real meaning of Easter. Later that evening, we went to my sister's house for dinner and another egg hunt.

Disney on Ice with Daisies

We took the girl scouts to Disney on Ice, and that was followed by a big girl scout slumber party at a laser tag center in Loveland. I was SO exhausted the next day. I think our last girl went to sleep around 2:30 am. Do you know how long it has been since I have stayed up that late? Elle only made it until about 1:00. They played games, laser tag, ate, did karaoke, watched a movie, and I got a free massage (that made it worth it, I guess).

My baby is big!!

I am sad, my baby is getting big. She learned how to ride a big girl bike, not a big wheel.

Elle's 1st dance

Elle's school has dances every so often that the PTA puts on and we have never gone to one because she has never cared. But for some reason, she really wanted to go to the St. Patrick's day dance, so we dressed them up and took them. And let me just say, they do not have a very good monitoring system on the music they played. For anyone who knows the kind of music she sings, they played Kesha songs and Flo Rida' songs and you get the point. And I think we were deaf for about three days after, but Elle had a great time. Her friend, Brooke, from girl scouts, was there so they danced and ran and played all night.

Reese's 3rd Birthday

I wish I wasn't a total slacker, but I guess it is just something I have to admit. I go on a posting kick for a day and then it takes forever to do another, but it is what it is, I guess. So Reese's party was way back on March 12. We went to McDonald's because she loves "mickey donald's." And, what can I say, they had a blast! She LOVES Mickey Mouse, so we got her a Mickey cake and they all got happy meals and I guess that is all a 3 year old needs to keep herself happy. And on her actual birthday we got to enjoy the fine cuisine of Cici's Pizza, Reese's choice.

Of course, I couldn't get Reese to look at me for the group picture
