Reese's First Swim Lesson

Reese finally got to start swim lessons! She was SOOOO excited becuase she has been watching Elle for two years. Elle was super excited for her sister to start also. And finally last night she put her face in without choking to death on water! The smile on her face was priceless!

Breck

Ryan and I got to go to Breckenridge for a couple of days for our anniversary while my parents wrangled the kids (not to mention that Reese got an ear and nose infection while they were here:)). We went snowmobiling (tons of fun) way up in the bowls behind Copper Mountain. We skied, ate dinner out with no rugrats and walked around the town a lot.

It was freakin' cold at the top and I couldn't keep my goggles on straight becuase if I took my gloves off my hands would freeze.

Cookie madness is OVER!

Oh, beloved girl scout cookies! I am so glad to be done with them. Elle ended up with a grand total of 400 boxes. None of that was door to door except our street. The rest were church people, family, Ryan's work, and Linda sold a bunch for us. So she gets all kinds of fun junk now to add to her collections. Her and Ryan did one booth sale outside of Wal-Mart so she could earn her Me and My Guy patch. Then her and I did one at King Soopers. It was so funny, becuase they would jump right in front of people or jump up on their carts. A lot of people would be like, "Well I dont want any but I will just give you some money becuase these kids are too cute to pass up." But her troop did so well that they earned a trip to Disney On Ice and a sleepover at a laser tag place. And then we are going to do some service projects with the rest of the money they earned.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was not a huge production this year, we just go them each a few little things and Linda and I took them to Chuck E Cheese for a party, but they always have a blast at Chuck E Cheese.

Just some funny things

Just some funny things for me to remember, so sorry if this bores you all.
Yesterday i was flossing my teeth and Reese came in and said, "Mommy why you do that?" So I said, "I don't know, just to clean my teeth." To which she replied, "You got junk in dere?"
When Reese wants to go outside, she will bring me her jacket and say, "Mommy, you 'yip my yacket?'".
There is something about her z's, because we went to the zoo the other day and she says to me, "Mom, we go to 'yoo and see yebras'?"
On the way to the gym the other day, Reese wanted to bring her new Barbie into the kids club with her and I told her no. So she proceeded to keep asking and finally I gave in and said, "OK but you CANNOT lose her, or you will be sad." To which she replies, "Okay, mommy, me won't lose her, I love her."
Every time we ask the kids where they want to go to eat, Elle says Mc-a-donald's and Reese says Mc-e-donald's.
After Reese's birthday party last week, we came home and they were playing with all her toys. Next thing I know, I look over and she has her Barbie set up with all her little figurines around her and she is singing, "Happy day-bir to Barbie, happy day-bir to Barbie."
Reese finally got to start swim lessons after two years of watching Elle and she is SUPER excited about being in swimming. Every day she asks me if she can go "fwim" that night.
When the kids all play hide and go seek outside, Reese will say "me be it" and then she will cover her eyes with ehr fingers open so she can see through them. Then she says, "fee, fo, fi, one, ten, not here I come."
It is the cutest thing in the car they will both sing to the children's primary song cd I have and Reese will follow Elle doing all the actions to Popcorn Popping, The wise Man and the Foolish Man, Once there was a Snowman.
If Ryan ever has to work late or on a Saturday for some reason, Elle doesn't understand why. SO I will explain to her that there are some times that he just has to work extra in construction. And she asks, "Well, is he watching over the tools?"
